Residential Construction Drafter

TimberCraft Homes is looking to add a Drafter to our team! We are looking for someone highly motivated, self-starter, and eager to learn, who can work well with a team and company leaders. Please provide a resume and a portfolio of previous work, if possible. Salary starting at $45,000+ per year depending on experience level, with bonus potential.

Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree(+) in CAD design and/or 2+ years of construction drafting experience
  • Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD
  • Ability to analyze current building codes, etc. and stay up-to-date on all required and relevant codes
  • Ability to draw plans for foundations, floor plans, elevations, details, frame pages, etc.
  • Ability to read plats and draw site/plot plans in company software
  • Mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Ability to assemble the information needed to finish construction drawings, including visiting job sites when necessary
  • Aptitude in space planning and current residential trends
  • Great analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work well with a team and leaders in the company

Superintendent

Are you passionate about your work? Seeking to effectively run the day-to-day jobsite activities for a construction project? Do you take pride in your finished work and cultivate a positive work environment? If so, we are seeking a construction superintendent to work for our mature, but growing and dynamic company, in the Edmond and Oklahoma City area.

This position will be responsible for all phases of a construction project, from the initial planning to completion of the project. Superintendents provide guidance and direction to all onsite trades in the areas of safety, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, logistics, and quality control responsibilities. Perform inspections or schedule inspectors to meet the varying safety and compliance regulations of each job location. Ensure that job quality and customer satisfaction is maintained at every stage of the project. You must have the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, customers, and subcontractors.

Qualifications for Construction Superintendent

  • Basic knowledge of software programs, such as Mark Systems, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to write reports and professional correspondence to vendors, government officials, and clients
  • Good reading comprehension for technical documents, such as safety regulations, assembly and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Excellent verbal communications skills
  • Ability to stand for several hours at a time and to walk in varying climate conditions and on uneven ground
  • Capacity to physically lift up to 100 lbs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
