With that kernel of knowledge, our founder began the journey to build the best home building company in the OKC metro area, TimberCraft Homes.
Jack Evans left a career in Finance to learn the art of home building, and in 2003 started TimberCraft from the ground up. TimberCraft Homes, a home builder in Oklahoma City OK, operates with the simple belief that new homes do not have to look and feel like tract homes. Each TimberCraft home offers a combination of quality materials, excellent workmanship and superior design. Homes do not have to be 4,000 square feet to have features like granite and quartz counter tops, custom cabinetry and trim, designer paint colors, or the absolute cutting-edge in energy efficient technology.
We take pride in creating houses that feel like homes. Our homes are open and spacious with large windows ensuring abundant natural light. Hallways are minimized to produce a house that lives larger than its square footage. TimberCraft also offers extensive customizing options, empowering you to create a home that is truly yours. Our experienced design consultants provide the guidance you need to make your home come together perfectly.
We hope that you notice the fit and finish, the attention to details, and appreciate the effort that goes into making each one of our homes distinctive, stylish, and unique. At TimberCraft Homes we specialize in building homes for the middle-class buyer. We cater to individuals in search of a full service Oklahoma City OK home builder who is truly invested in their experience.

Ryne grew up in the Texas Panhandle where he earned his high school degree. While in high school, Ryne not only worked for his father's custom home building business, but also started his own business of selling and delivering firewood. Ryne attended Rose State College in Midwest City, Oklahoma and played baseball there for the Raiders. He then transferred to Southwestern Oklahoma State University, graduating with a Bachelors of Science as well as an Associates degree. While attending college at SWOSU, he assisted two of his college professors in building their personal homes. The knowledge and skills that Ryne gained through his experiences of construction during college and while growing up in the custom home building business alongside his father, has helped him to understand the nuts and bolts of home building. Ryne has been with the TimberCraft team since June of 2016.
